J'ai testé avec une session live (Ubuntu installé sur une clé usb)

Ce serait encore mieux de refaire ce test et de copier ici les commandes que tu faites et leur retour. Sinon, on ne sait pas de quoi on parle.

Je viens à nouveau de tester sur une session live
- L'imprimante fonctionne
Je n'ai pas réussi à trouver un paquet pour lancer le Scanner
J'ai essayé d'installer Sane, Xsane, Gscan2pdf mais impossible de trouver les paquets
Tout ça me paraît bien compliqué ; je crois que, lorsque je devrai scanner un document, à mon grand regret, je reviendrai sous Windows !!!

Tu as regardé la Doc xsane ?

sudo apt install xsane

ou gscan2pdf

Les paquets sane, xsane et gscan2pdf sont dans la section universe des dépôts.
Sur une session live, il n'y a que les sections main et restricted d'activées par défaut.
Il faut éditer le fichier /etc/apt/sources.list de la session live et y ajouter la section universe pour arriver à installer les paquets cités plus haut.

Sinon, en live, le numériseur de document simple-scan devrait être disponible d'office ?

Il faut peut-être aussi supprimer le paquet ippusbxd de la session live :

sudo apt purge ippusbxd

...et réessayer le numériseur de documents, et/ou en ligne de commande :

hp-scan -i

J'ai ensuite lancé une numérisation avec le Numérisateur de documents
- Le scanner fonctionne et la page scannée s'affiche dans la fenêtre
J'ai ensuite enregistré le document
Enfin je retrouve celui ci dans le dossier Documents -> Donc ça marche !!!
(Et après ça qui osera dire que les miracles n'existent pas !!!)
Je crois en fait que c'est moi qui n'enregistrait pas le document !!!
Vraiment je suis désolé de vous avoir occupé tout ce temps et vous prie de m'en excuser.
En tous cas je vous remercie tous de votre aide...
Je vais essayer de passer en RÉSOLU
