[Résolu] Scanner HP non fonctionnel sous UBUNTU 20.4
Bonjour,
Je fais mes premiers pas sur LINUX et sur ce forum.
Je rencontre un problème avec mon imprimante HP LASERJET PRO MFP M125nw.
Je suis capable d'imprimer sans problème sur cette imprimante (en WIFI ou USB)
J'utilise l'outil scanner livré dans UBUNTU 20.4. L'outil reconnait l'imprimante car il affiche la dite imprimante mais ensuite il affiche "impossible de se connecter au peripherique de numerisation" lorsque je lance une numérisation
J'ai vérifié et mon imprimante est bien supporté depuis la librairie HPLIP version 3.14.3
J'ai lu plusieurs sujets sur ce forum qui reportent les mêmes symptômes mais je bloque de mon coté:

Du coup,
1) jai téléchargé avec succés le greffon hplip-3.20.3
2) j'ai supprimé avec succes "du python2, du python3.4 (etc.) et installé python3.8"
3) par contre l'installation du plugin (sh hplip-3.20.3-plugin.run ) plante avec cette commande comme d'ailleurs le reportait Flying Cluster

Tu as annulé la tentative d'installation du greffon ?
Peut-être retenter, mais en choisissant l'option « d » :
d Download plug-in from HP (recommended)
...pour lancer l'installation.
Je crois qu'Il faut brancher et allumer l'imprimante avant la tentative d'installation du greffon ?

Oui j'ai annulé la commande "hp-plugin -i" car je ne sais pas comment elle marche mais je souhaitais surtout vous partager les informations de ma configuration.
J'ai néanmoins déjà suivi l'étape 1 de "Flying Cluster" et téléchargé le greffon:

Bonjour,
Comme semble l'avoir fait @Flying Cluster, tu pourrais passer par hp-setup pour reconfigurer et compléter l'installation ?
Il y a de fortes chances que ça installe le greffon du coup.
Commence par supprimer l'imprimante existante :
hp-setup -ir
...puis réinstalle-la :
hp-setup -i
Choisir le mode d'installation "custom" et ensuite les options par défaut, autant que possible ; ça devrait tenter l'installation du greffon ?

Oui. j'ai commencé à lire le super et complet tuto HPLIP mais il ne me semblait pas adapté à mon soucis étant donné que mon imprimante imprime et que c'est chaud pour tout comprendre aussi.
En suivant ton conseil, j'ai lancé la premiere commande, et je tombe sur le même code erreur qu'avec la commande "sh hplip-3.20.3-plugin.run" (Dans mon premier message)

J'ai fait une nouvelle tentative avec l'outil "numeriseur de documents" mais j'ai le meme symptome. Il reconnait l'imprimante mais plantage quand je lance le scan.

Cela a fonctionné.
Je suis capable d'imprimer et de scanner.
Je remets les commande pour référence pour des gens comme moi qui seraient plantés.
je précise que j'avais mon imprimante multifonction connectée par USB pendant les opérations
J'avais initialement manuellement téléchargé le greffon mais du coup j'ai préféré utiliser l'option (d) du script qui permet de le récupérer tout seul
