J'ai fait ce qui est proposé. Voici ce que me dit le terminal :
Non, tu n'as pas fait ce qui est demandé, tu as passé toutes ces commandes avec sudo, alors que ce n'est pas nécessaire. L'utilisation intempestive et systématique de sudo peut avoir des conséquences fâcheuses pour le système, donc c'est une habitude à perdre absolument.

On voit plusieurs messages d'erreurs concernant le pilote graphique libre « nouveau » dans les divers retours de journalctl au message #22, faudrait peut-être tenter de passer sur le pilote proprio NVIDIA ?

Plus de plantage depuis que j'ai fait ce que m'a indiqué xubu1957, alors que les autres fois ça plantait moins, mais ça continuait un peu.
Il semble bien que ce coup-ci la bonne solution soit trouvée.
J'avais été trop rapide l'autre fois. J'attends encore jusqu'à la fin de la semaine pour dire si c'est résolu.

J'ai attendu et malheureusement un nouveau plantage est arrivé .:(
Avec un autre problème, mon deuxième écran a disparu !!!
Dans les paramètres je ne retrouve pas ces deux écrans pour supprimer le clonage éventuel, la possibilité de remettre en place n'apparaît pas.
J'ai essayé une mise à jour mais on me dit que ce n'est pas possible.
J'ai fait une copie d'écran mais je ne vois pas comment je peux la joindre, la copie renvoie sur mon ordi.

Puisque tu as des difficultés avec casimages, essaie zupimages : https://www.zupimages.net/
Sur la page de zupimages, dans le champ "Image 1", tu cliques sur "Parcourir" et tu sélectionnes ton image. Ensuite, tu cliques sur le gros bouton "Validez" qui se trouve un peu plus bas dans la page de zupimages. Dans le résultat qui apparaît, tu copies ce qui se trouve dans le champ "Lien vers votre image (recommandé)" et tu le colles dans ta réponse. Je viens de faire un essai avec un fichier jpg ( minion.jpg récupéré sur la toile ) pour être certain que ça fonctionne et c'est bien le cas : https://zupimages.net/viewer.php?id=21/19/u36r.jpg

Merci à tous ceux qui ont suivi et contribué à résoudre mes difficultés.
Particulièrement xubu1957.
Les difficultés sont vraiment apparues depuis que je suis passé à la version 20.
Ce n'est peut-être pas un hasard ? La complexification augmente ?
Il faut dire aussi que depuis mes débuts sur UBUNTU avec un informaticien qui me drivait j'ai pris de l'âge...
Il n'habite plus près de chez moi depuis longtemps aussi alors tout seul je n'ai pas continué à travailler.
Et quand on stagne ça équivaut à du recul !

Bonjour
Décidément je n'en sors plus avec mon ordi !
Le problème du plantage semble réglé définitivement.
Puis il y a eu l'impossibilité de remettre le deuxième écran.
Votre aide m'a permis d'en sortir.
Maintenant je constate que "libre office" est perturbé.
J'ai consulté mes comptes, il m'ouvre "calcul" en lecture seule.
Je suis allé aux comptes avec windows ça marche bien sûr.
Quand je reviens à Ubuntu ça marche à nouveau...
Cet aspect de perturbation aléatoire me gêne depuis que j'ai installé 2004.
J'avais attendu 1 an tout de même afin que les bugs habituels soient réglés.
Et j'avais installé en suivant la demande que je recevais fréquemment.
Est-ce que depuis le début j'ai une version instable ???
