Installation Epson SX218
Bonjour à tous !
Je viens d'installer Ubuntu 22.04 et je ne me souviens plus de la procédure pour installer mon imprimante EPSON SX 218...
J'ai téléchargé, comme suggéré, epson-printer-utility_1.1.1-1lsb3.2_amd64.deb
Il est dans mes téléchargements, et je l'ai extrait là aussi.
Ensuite que faire ?
Dans le passé j'ai suivi un post de xubu1957, et de Bertrand49 et puis ça faisant référence à un autre post avec Rafbor et Douxy19....Bref j'ai craint de mal installer des fichiers....
Existe t-il un tuto clair et couronné de succès ?
Dois-je purger, supprimer l'imprimante installée ?
Elle est bien connectée en USB (le scanner fonctionne).

Il faudrait fournir > les Informations utiles à donner lorsque j'ai un problème.
Conseils pour les nouveaux demandeurs et pas qu'eux

Bonjour,
Sauf erreur de ma part, ce modèle devrait être supporté par les pilotes du paquet printer-driver-escpr.
Vérifier si ce paquet est bien installé ?
Pour info, j'ai ceci sur une Debian Bullseye, avec leur version de printer-driver-escpr, ça devrait être semblable sur Ubuntu 22.04 Jammy :

J'ai installé printer-driver-escpr par sudo apt install printer-driver-escpr
ça s'est installé mais sans résultat après un redémarrage.
J'ai aussi téléchargé printer-driver-escpr_1.7.17-2_amd64.deb
Mais qu'en faire ensuite ? L'extraire ? mais ou ? Et ensuite ?

Bonjour,
Sauf erreur de ma part, faudrait probablement tenter la réinstallation de l'imprimante après avoir installé le paquet printer-driver-escpr ?
Commencer par supprimer toutes traces de l'imprimante existante, pour ensuite la réinstaller ?
Voir la doc : Outil de configuration des imprimantes
N'ayant pas accès à ce type de matériel, je ne peux pousser plus loin dans le processus d'installation; désolé...
