[RESOLU] probleme gmartcontrol apres etre passé à Ubuntu 22.04
Bonjour,
pour Ubuntu sur mon portable, j'utilise la fonction : sudo hdparm -B 255 /dev/sda pour eviter le parcage intempestif de mon disque dur.
depuis que je suis passé à la version 22.04, je me suis rendu compte que mon disque dur par moment se met en pause.

Je me suis rendu compte que start/stop count à augmenté de 4.
Je n'ai pas fais attention si d'autres facteurs augmentent.
Je voudrais savoir comment regler le probleme, pour eviter l'usure prematurée du HDD.

Bonjour , tu peux faire cela graphiquement probablement tout depend des options accessibles de ton disque , a verifier donc .
tu ouvres " disques ". tu selectionnes le disque en question , en haut a droite tu cliques sur les 3 points , puis parametres du disque . tu accesdes alors a des onglets , differents selon les capacités du disque .
tu peux activer la mise en veille et la regler sur 3 heures par exemple .
il ne reste plus qu ' a verifier si cela fonctionne .
ta commande est destinée a stopper la gestion avancée de l' energie , d' apres man hdparm .
tu remarqueras que dans les onglets , tu devrais en avoir un qui se nomme " GAE " , tu peux aussi activer ici , puis indiquer en reglant la curseur sur desactivé .

Dans l'ensemble, il est rare d'avoir à toucher au paramétrage
-B Get/set Advanced Power Management feature, if the drive supports it. A low value means aggressive power management and a high value means better performance. Possible settings range from values 1 through 127 (which permit spin-down), and values 128 through 254 (which do not permit spin-down). The highest degree of power management is attained with a setting of 1, and the highest I/O performance with a setting of 254. A value of 255 tells hdparm to disable Advanced Power Management altogether on the drive (not all drives support disabling it, but most do)
Tu es probablement dans la catégorie qui ne peut pas interdire.

il y est marqué;
Le laptop_mode n'est pas le laptop-mode-tools : le laptop_mode est un outil directement intégré au noyau linux et désactivé de base sur Ubuntu car il était accusé de diminuer énormément la durée de vie des disques durs en faisant parquer les têtes de lecture trop souvent. Laptop-mode-tools vous propose aussi de régler ces paramètres d'économie d'énergie mais ils sont désactivés de base. Vous n'avez donc pas à vous inquiéter. Mais si vous savez ce que vous faites, vous pouvez toujours réactiver les options idoines !
Mais chez moi, cela semble avoir resolu le probleme.

Merci pour ces infos , meme si la page reste desuette , je trouve qu ' elle reste tout de meme inintéressante en cas de confrontation a ce problème .
Pour info et donc verifier si tu es réellement impacté par un soucis tel qu ' indiqué peux tu fournir ( fenêtre terminal en plein écran avant de passer commande ) :
lsblk /dev/sdX -fe7 -o+model
et pour vérifier le nombre de parckage / heure :
sudo smartctl -a /dev/sdX | grep 'Cycle\|Power'
en remplaçant les " X "par la lettre correspondante au disque concerné stp ?

je n'ai plus le probleme de parcage.
Par contre je me retrouve avec au bout d'environ 20min avec mon ordinateur qui se met avec un ecran noir impossible de regarder un film , je suis obliger d'appuyer sur la touche espace pour continuer a voir mon film.

Bonjour duocore,
Attention les commandes ci-dessous désactivent complètement l'écran de veille /!\
Dans ton lecteur vidéo tu dois avoir un réglage pour empêcher la veille, mais parfois même en configurant les paramètres d’énergie et d’économiseur d’écran, l’écran se met en veille tout de même.
On doit pouvoir désactiver ce comportement avec la commande suivante :
xset -dpms && xset s noblank && xset s off
Si cela fonctionne, et pour le rendre permanent, on peut programmer cette commande pour qu’elle soit lancée à chaque connexion :
echo "xset -dpms && xset s noblank && xset s off" > ~/.xsessionrc

Cela aurait pu se régler en modifiant le paramétrage de la veille, il y a certainement l'option jamais
