Mise à niveau vers une version qui serait inexistante.

Bonjour, je souhaite mettre à jour mon Ubuntu Studio 18.04 (virtualisée sous un Windows 10) vers la nouvelle version 22.04.

  Je lance la ligne de commande :

sudo do-release-upgrade --check-dist-upgrade-only --devel-release

  Et j' obtiens en retour :

christian@studio:~$ sudo do-release-upgrade --check-dist-upgrade-only --devel-release
Recherche d'une nouvelle version d'Ubuntu
Aucune version de développement d’une LTS n’est proposée.
Pour passer à la dernière version de développement non-LTS 
définir Prompt=normal dans /etc/update-manager/release-upgrades.
christian@studio:~$ sudo do-release-upgrade --check-dist-upgrade-only --devel-release
Recherche d'une nouvelle version d'Ubuntu
Aucune version de développement d’une LTS n’est proposée.
Pour passer à la dernière version de développement non-LTS 
définir Prompt=normal dans /etc/update-manager/release-upgrades.

  Pourtant elle exise bien cette version 22.04 ?

  Je modifierai bien mon sources.list; et lancerai une mise à jour, mais du coup puis je le faire ?

apparemment il te dit ce qu'il faut faire
mais modifie le source list
studio ce sont que des paquets en plus ou spécifiques

Bonjour,

Il faudrait d'abord passer en 20.04 focal, avant de faire la migration vers la 22.04 jammy.

Mais c'est une virtualisation ?

  Oui très juste, j'ai sauté une version. Mais du coup ma ligne de commande devrait quand même m' indiquer la version 22.04 ?

  Effectivement, j'ai virtualisé cette version de Studio, avec Virtualbox sous Windows 10.

Que donne cette commande (l'option -c permet de vérifier l'existence d'une mise à niveau possible sans la lancer réellement) :

sudo do-release-upgrade -c

?

Nota commande indiquée par malbo dans [RESOLU] Dépôt ubuntu zesty retourne une 404

Non, 22.04 n’est plus en développement.

     Pour nany, effectivement je n'avais pas vu qu'il était question d'une version de développement, mais pourquoi il ne me propose pas la version LTS 20.04 ? (Même si la commande de xubu me la montre)

Que donnent

sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade
sudo do-release-upgrade

Il faudrait aussi regarder si tu n'as pas installé une version 32 bits car il n'y a pas de suite. Mais je n'ai pas mémorisé la commande le montrant.
A priori cette commande le fait.

uname -a

et d'éventuels paquets cassés :

Parce que 20.04 qui date de deux ans avant 22.04 est a fortiori encore moins une version de développement.
Ta commande, avec l’option --devel-release, demande à voir une version en développement (pour une LTS d’après ton fichier /etc/update-manager/release-upgrades).
La commande de xubu1957 demande simplement à voir quelle nouvelle version est valable pour mettre à niveau la version actuelle.

Il faudra que tu sois disponible plusieurs heures devant ton écran car il faudra certainement répondre à quelques questions pendant cette installation.
Si tu n'es pas présent, elle risque de planter et il faudra alors réparer.
