Mauvais affichage des couleurs (23.04, wayland, HP EliteBook)
Bonjour à tous,
Depuis quelques jours ma femme a un souci avec son ordi (Ubuntu 23.04 sur HP EliteBook 840 G1).
Description: l'affichage des couleurs est modifié, comme si certaines nuances n'étaient pas prises en compte. Cette altération des couleurs concerne tout ce qui se trouve sur l'écran (wallpaper, icones, textes, menus contextuels, etc).
Contexte: le problème survient sans raison apparente, les mises à jour sont toutes déjà faites, les logiciels utilisés sont généralement Firefox et Okular.
Durée: retour spontané à la normale après quelques minutes d'utilisation (mais la plupart du temps on reboote car la lisibilité est vraiment très altérée)
Fréquence: deux, voire trois fois par jour.
À noter: en voulant faire une capture d'écran pour vous montrer j'ai observé ce phénomène très intéressant. Si je choisis l'option "écran", c'est tout l'écran qui apparaît altéré. Si en revanche je choisis l'option "sélection", seule la zone sélectionnée semble concernée pr le problème décrit ci-haut, le reste de l'écran s'affichant normalement.

Bonjour et merci pour ton aide xubu1957. J'ai purgé les résidus et je suis passé sous xorg. Maintenant le seul moyen pour moi de savoir si ça règle le problème est de patienter, car comme je l'expliquais ce problème d'affichage se manifeste sans prévenir.
Si d'ici demain soir ça ne s'est pas reproduit, je mettrais le topic en RÉSOLU.
Si ça se reproduit en revanche, avant de rebooter, qu'est-ce que je pourrais faire pour faire avancer les choses ?

Je te suggère de supprimer ce snap, de faire les mises à jour et d'installer à la place la version des dépôts (donne les 4 retours) :
sudo snap remove vlc sudo apt update sudo apt full-upgrade sudo apt install vlc

Je commence à soupçonner que le problème venait de Firefox. Pour une raison simple: j'ai passé des heures sur l'ordi de ma femme et le bug ne s'est pas produit une seule fois. Mais il suffit à ma femme de passer une petite heure dessus pour que le bug se produise. Or la différence principale entre elle et moi, c'est qu'elle utilise toujours Firefox, et moi jamais (sur son ordi du moins). Et ce matin elle utilise son ordi sans lancer Firefox, et le bug ne se produit pas (alors que dans ce laps de temps, en temps "normal", il se serait déjà produit).
Donc là j'ai mis à jour son Firefox, j'ai transféré tous ses favoris depuis Firefox vers Chromium et on va voir ce que ça donne :-)
