[Résolu] Problème au démarrage en dual boot : grub not found !

Bonjour à tous,

J'utilise depuis plusieurs années déjà mon ordinateur en dual boot Windows - Ubuntu. Jusque là tout fonctionnait bien : au démarrage, je pouvais choisir mon OS et les deux fonctionnaient.

Or dernièrement à l'allumage de mon ordi, avant d'avoir le choix de l'OS, j'ai vu le message d'erreur suivant :

Failed to open \EFI\ubuntu\grubx64.efi - Not Found
Failed to load image [][]: Not Found
start_image() returned Not Found, falling back to default loader
Failed to open \EFI\ubuntu\grubx64.efi - Not Found
Failed to load image [][]: Not Found
start_image() returned Not Found

J'ai finalement mon environnement Windows qui s'est lancé, mais depuis impossible de retourner sur Linux.

J'ai essayé de voir s'il n'y avait pas de problème dans les paramètres de BIOS, mais je ne trouve rien de satisfaisant.

Quelqu'un a-t-il déjà eu un problème similaire ? Je ne trouve rien non plus sur les forums.
Est-ce que mes données sont perdues ? J'ai une sauvegarde relativement récente, mais j'aimerais bien quand même pouvoir retrouver mes données...
Et ce que je trouve étonnant, c'est que je n'ai pas bidouillé le BIOS juste avant d'avoir le problème, c'est venu spontanément. Je n'explique donc pas l'origine du problème. Ma mémoire interne qui a un pet au casque ?

Je suis preneur de toutes infos, merci de votre aide !

Complément : mon ordi est un Dell Inspiron 7370, j'avais la dernière version stable d'Ubuntu (22.quelque chose... !) en interface Gnome. J'ai un Windows 11 à côté.

Le plus simple pour qu'on puisse être au clair sur la situation serait de fournir un rapport bootinfo...  et puis est-ce que tu as plus précisément une idée de l'élément déclencheur du problème ?

Par contre, je n'ai aucune idée de l'origine du problème, je n'ai pas fait de manip particulière avant et j'ai eu me semble-t-il une utilisation de mon ordi complètement similaire à ce que je fais quotidiennement...

C'est peut être l'anomalie avec le noyau  5.15.0-86-.

Conseils pour les nouveaux demandeurs et pas qu'eux

J'ai regardé le problème du noyau 5.15.0-86, mais trop complexe pour moi, je ne suis pas assez calé malheureusement.
Est-ce que quelqu'un pourrait m'aiguiller pour downgrade ma version de noyau ? Il me semble que ça peut être une solution temporaire, au moins pour voir si c'est l'origine du problème.

Alors qu'on a bien un windows qui fini par booter ça c'est la meilleure... Ou alors c'est la partition bitlocker qui le perturbe ?

En tout cas vu le premier message d'erreur et le contenu de la partition efi j'ai effectivement l'impression qu'il y manque des bouts...

Par curiosité Supergrubdisk arrive à faire boot le système de force ou pas ?

J'essaye Supergrubdisk... C'est bien ça https://www.supergrubdisk.org/category/ … sk-stable/ ? A utiliser comme une image linux qu'on booterait depuis une clé ?

Oui... En clair c'est un grub portable qui va permettre d'être dans de meilleures conditions* pour réparer le GRUB du système installé si besoin... wink

* : ça va permettre de simplifier l'utilisation de la commande grub-install pour réinstaller le GRUB comme il faut sans passer par bootrepair (non je n'ai rien contre lui wink)

Je l'ai installé sur ma clé via Rufus, mais quand je veux booter dessus, je tombe directement sur le SupportAssist. Il y a une manip en plus à faire ? Je suis preneur d'un tuto ! wink

Rufus ça craint* ! Préfère ventoy qui a la quote sur notre forum et dont il existe aussi une version pour windows...

Update à J+1 :
J'ai démarré mon ordi avec supergrubdisk (merci, Ventoy c'est beaucoup mieux effectivement !) et effectivement j'ai réussi à forcer le boot sur mon ubuntu déjà installé. J'ai donc retrouvé toutes mes données ! Déjà une belle étape !

Ah c'est donc juste un apt en trop ! Je vais réessayer.

En attendant j'ai testé le boot-repair depuis ma clé.
Essai 1 : j'ai eu une erreur me demandant de retirer les secure boot
Essai 2 en ayant désactivé secure boot : j'ai eu le message d'erreur suivant.

Une erreur est survenue pendant la réparation.
Error: NVram is locked (Ubuntu not found in efibootmgr). Veuillez indiquer ce message à boot.repair@gmail.com

Problème résolu ! Mon ordi reboot sans souci sur Ubuntu, sans clé !

C'est bête que tu n'aies pas essayé de rebooter après la réparation de boot-repair.
A mon avis, elle était bonne.
