[RESOLU] Défaut dans le Xorg.log pour GeForce 1650
Bonjour,
je viens d'installer Ubuntu 22.04 sur mon système et j'ai hw-probe qui me remonte un soucis sur la carte vidéo : https://linux-hardware.org/?probe=17b96c3ee5
De plus, c'est le driver proprio qui est sélectionné d'office par l'installateur et cela place de fait le système en X11 au lieu de Wayland. Seul le pilote libre semble permettre le passage en Wayland mais j'ai toujours la même erreur de remontée par hw-probe. A noter que j'ai mon affichage qui ne semble pas être impacté (je n'ai pas encore installé de jeux pour vérifier ceci-dit).
Je remets la sortie du xorg.log ici mais c'est plus facile à lire depuis le lien hw-probe qui a colorisé les erreurs :

C'est bon, on a réinstallé et ça fonctionne (avec les mêmes logiciels que précédemment).
La seule différence est liée à l'utilisation ou pas du pilote propriétaire de la carte NVidia.
En passant par le pilote libre on a bien le système en Wayland et pas d'erreur au lancement de certaines applications + pas d'erreur dans le xorg.log
En utilisant le pilote propriétaire on a des erreurs au niveau du lancement de certaines applications, des erreurs au niveau du Xorg.log et on reste en X11, pas de Wayland possible.

en fait je l'ai bien installé dès le départ mais ça ne change rien. C'est toujours en X11.
J'ai lu quelques posts sur le support de wayland sur ce type de carte et il semblerait que cela soit plus stable et efficace en X11 de toute façon. Bref, je n'y comprends pas grand chose.
J'ai aussi essayé d'installer Ubuntu 23.10 et c'était aussi en X11, mais je n'avais pas d'erreur dans le xorg.log : https://linux-hardware.org/?probe=68cb8af744
Je me demande tout de même ce qui est le mieux pour cette carte vidéo : 22.04 ou 23.10 ?

je viens de basculer sur le pilote libre et, là, je passe bien sous Wayland.
En fait, malgré l'installation de la libnvidia-egl-wayland1, je restais sous X11 avec tous les pilotes Nvidia propriétaires, j'ai même testé avec le 545 expérimental du ppa ; ppa que j'ai ensuite supprimé pour revenir aux packages de la distribution et, notamment, la 535 testée par Ubuntu.
Par contre, j'ai toujours des erreurs dans le xorg.log ; https://linux-hardware.org/?probe=3a61ed506a

Situation actuelle : pilote libre qui me permet d'être sous Wayland (et non pas les pilotes propriétaire sous X11 systématiquement, qui était installé par défaut par l'installateur)
mais j'ai toujours cette erreur de xorg.log https://linux-hardware.org/?probe=3a61ed506a ; j'en suis à me demander si ces erreurs de xorg.log ne demeurent pas quelque soit le pilote. Peut-être est-ce un fichier fixe qui garde des informations précédentes liées aux drivers proprio.
Là il y a Cyril qui dit quelque chose que je n'arrive pas à comprendre sur les fichiers xorg : https://linuxfr.org/forums/linux-debian … log-xorg-0.
Peut-être faudrait-il que j'arrive à purger les xorg.log ?

C'est bon, on a réinstallé et ça fonctionne (avec les mêmes logiciels que précédemment).
La seule différence est liée à l'utilisation ou pas du pilote propriétaire de la carte NVidia.
En passant par le pilote libre on a bien le système en Wayland et pas d'erreur au lancement de certaines applications + pas d'erreur dans le xorg.log
En utilisant le pilote propriétaire on a des erreurs au niveau du lancement de certaines applications, des erreurs au niveau du Xorg.log et on reste en X11, pas de Wayland possible.
