[Resolu] Pb installation 22.04 lts (20.04), dell precis 7865 tour AMD

Bonjour à tous.t.es,

Je suis parti pour installer ubuntu sur mon nouveau PC, une tour DELL precision 7865 avec processeur AMD. Je créer un clefs d'installation à partir du siite officiel ubuntu et là, surprise à l'installation, c'est la version 20.04 lts qu'il a installé.
L'upgrade n'est pas non plus proposé dans l'update. J'ai cru voir qu'il pouvait y avoir des incompatibilité du BIOS (et surtout que les precisions étaient souvent livrés avec la version 20.04 et même certifiés pour marcher avec la 20.04, mais la durée de maintien est limité...).

Est-ce courant (rien vu en ligne) ? Avez-vous une idée, dois-je forcer l'upgrade ? Une installation clean serait probablement mieux ? Y-a-t-il un test à réaliser (pb partition EFI ?).

Bonjour.
Tu as certainement téléchargé la version 20.04 au lieu de la version 22.04.
Fais les mises à jour.

sudo apt update

sudo apt upgrade

La mise à niveau devrait être proposée.
Sinon, tu peux la forcer

sudo do-release-upgrade

ou refaire une installation en bien téléchargeant.

La clef s'apelle 22.04 (et l'install vient de : https://ubuntu.com/download/desktop). Cela semble pourtant être la bonne version.
Je tenterai de forcer l'upgrade.

Ce qui compte c'est ce qu'il y a dedans et pas ce qui est écrit.
Fais donc un boot-info avec la clé branchée. On devrait voir son contenu.

Suggested repair: ______________________________________________________________

The default repair of the Boot-Repair utility would reinstall the grub-efi-amd64-signed of
nvme0n1p3,
using the following options:  nvme0n1p1/boot/efi
Additional repair would be performed: unhide-bootmenu-10s use-standard-efi-file

merci de la réponse super rapide.

en fait j'ai fait la ligne de commande dispo et la seule boite de dialogue était: "boot info en ligne ou pas"

donc je ne suis pas certain de comprendre à quel moment je dois tapper lsb_release -a

mais il me semble que l'on voit bien que la clef (sda) est un 22.04..

et le fichier d'installation iso est bien le même que celui proposé plus haut:

soit la version 22.04.3, il me sembe donc qu'il ne reste qu'à forcer l'upgrade...

et pour info, la commande

sudo do-release-upgrade

donne:

En lisant un peu sur le forum il semble que l'on puisse désactiver des repositories dell, mais je n'en voit pas particulièrement...

Booter avec le support d'installation veut dire qu'il faut arrêter l'ordinateur et     faire comme si on installait pour la première fois ubuntu

Normalement le dialogue doit commencer par un choix entre
    Voulez-vous installer ubuntu
ou
    Voulez-vous essayer ubuntu avant de l'installer
Je crois que la question est en  anglais.

bon en forçant (aujouter l'option 'aller chercher les LTS plus récentes') l'upgrade, ca marche. Peut-être un peu moins clean qu'une install mais je pense que le hardware forçait (dell) à installer la 20.04...

sudo apt update

d'éventuels paquets cassés :

dpkg -l | grep -v ^ii

et :

ls -l /var/crash

en te servant du Retour utilisable de commande.

Regarde quand même le contenu de support USB,  il serait préférable qu'il soit en 22.04. Au besoin, fais une clé  USB à base de ventoy.
