[Résolu] Impossible de démarrer session graphique
Bonjour
Après un jour et demi à tenter de trouver ce qui cloche et à faire diverses manips, je me résous à vous demander un peu d'aide.
Suite à un démarrage tout à fait normal, j'ai été dans l'impossibilité d'avoir une interface graphique autre qu'en recovery mode. J'ai eu l'impression que c'était un problème de drivers graphiques donc je suis passé seulement avec nouveau et j'ai enlevé les drivers nvidia en espérant que ça fonctionne (échec).
J'ai tenté de passer de mon Ubuntu 22.04 à 23.10 (échec).
J'ai lancé une clé USB live 18.04 pour voir s'il n'y avait pas un problème matériel : aucun souci de ce côté-là apparemment.
J'ai aussi tenté de réinstaller X, de reconfigurer mais là j'arrive au bout des bidouilles piquées ici et là. J'ai vu quelques réponses évoquant une éventuelle nécessité de mettre à jour le BIOS mais je ne suis pas 100% convaincu.

(sachant que j'ai aussi un noyau 6.5.0-21 qui ne boote pas et reste bloqué sur smpboot, mais les nouveaux noyaux ont parfois un peu besoin de temps avant d'être adaptés sur ce LDLC/Clevo)

La partition /home est saturée ( 99% ), c'est probablement suffisant pour bloquer l'ouverture de la session graphique ...
Il semblerait que tu aies tenté l'installation de plusieurs versions du pilote proprio Nvidia, qui n'ont pas été proprement désinstallées, ça aurait laissé derrière le fichier
nvidia-installer-disable-nouveau.conf dont la présence empêche le chargement du pilote libre nouveau.
Il faut premièrement faire de la place dans /home.
Après, difficile pour moi de proposer une procédure de nettoyage des résidus d'installation du pilote proprio Nvidia sans risquer de casser encore plus ton système ; faudra l'avis des autres intervenants dans ce cas.

Mon /home avait quand même près de 4G de libre, j'ai fait quand même de la place (12G, 97%), ça n'a rien changé.

Ça ne me dit pas pourquoi ma config est devenue foireuse d'un coup (un pb de mise à jour de drivers graphiques on dirait ?). Et il va falloir que je regarde pour virer sereinement les drivers nvidia (ou les réinstaller ?). Mais je vais rester sur nouveau quelques temps
