il faut essayer d' être précis dans le choix des mots 
Donc si le PC demarre , tu y fourres ton CD , et tu fais un tutoriel/boot-info

Et j'obtient ce message:
La session en cours est en mode de compatibilité BIOS. Veuillez désactiver le mode de compatibilité BIOS/CSM/Legacy dans votre micrologiciel UEFI et utiliser ce logiciel à partir d'un CD live (ou d'une clé USB live) compatible avec le mode de démarrage UEFI. Par exemple, utilisez une clé USB live de Boot-Repair-Disk-64bit (www.sourceforge.net/p/boot-repair-cd), après vous être assuré que votre BIOS est configuré pour démarrer l'USB en mode EFI. Cela activera cette fonctionnalité.
Au démarrage je suis allé dans le BIOS et j'ai suivi les instructions https://www.malekal.com/activer-desactiver-csm-bios/
Ensuite j'ai fait une clé (clé USB live de Boot-Repair-Disk-64bit (www.sourceforge.net/p/boot-repair-cd)
Ca ne démarre pas et je ne peux plus accéder au BIOS.

J'ai la page d’accueil d'asus qui s'ouvre avec please press Del to enter UEFI BIOS setting
Et c'est BLOQUE la dessus.

si tu redémarres l' ordi et appuie sur " dell " , tu ne vas pas dans le BIOS pour pouvoir remettre sur LEGACY ?

essaie de faire un reset CMOS / BIOS alors ...
il faut débrancher l ' alimentation , puis enlever la pile pendant 30 sec . remettre la pile et relancer en esperant que ca debloque la situation .
il faudra probablement reconfigurer les paramètres du BIOS que tu avais changé avant ( si il y en avait ).

tu n' as pas / plus de fichier a recuperer dans ton ancien ubuntu ?
si non , il suffit de supprimer la partition sda6 , par exemple avec gparted , puis de faire un :
sudo update-grubsi tu as toujours des fichiers à recuperer dedans recupere les d' abord ( puis ensuite supprime la partition avec gparted et actualise le GRUB , voir ci-dessus ) :

Ca avance....
J'ai supprimé la partition sda6 avec gparted.
Ca fonctionne toujours.
Par contre au démarrage j'ai tjrs ce 20.04 qui m'est proposé.
En fouillant dans Boot info j'ai vu qu'il (20.04) était encore présent dans sda5.
ce serait plus propre de le virer non?
