Caméra intégrée qui s'arrête de fonctionner

Bonjour.
Je me permets d'ouvrir ce fil, bien que des fils similaires aient été résolus, parce que je ne m'y retrouve pas dans ceux-ci.

Dans cheese, par exemple mais aussi d'autres logiciels, la caméra fonctionne qlq secondes puis plante. Jusqu'à présent ça a tjs bien fonctionné. La nouveauté c'est que je suis passé à 24.04.02 et que j'ai essayé d'installer l'extension Battery Health que j'ai retiré depuis (je la suspecte).

Si quelqu'un pouvait m'orienter sur comment diagnostiquer, merci.

Je trouve suspect la sortie de cette commande. Pourquoi pas de video0 et 1 ?

Sur les bons conseils de xubu1957 j'ai procéder à l'élimination des packages orphelins et lancé guvcview qui attend un périphérique video0 qu'il ne trouve pas :

J'ai recréé temporairement le fichier video aussi mais il disparait au redémarrage (normal ?? et ça ne répare pas) :

J'aimerai bien comprendre l'origine du pb mais ce matin ça fonctionne !! (??).
J'ai d'abord testé avec Teams, ok. Puis Cheese, ok.
Pourtant j'avais fait des redémarrages hier soir après les manips sans succès.

La différence que je vois ce matin c'est la présence de video1 :

Bon, ça s'est remis à Bugger. J'ai redémarré et ça refonctionne.
Donc, à ce stade, je constate que le souci est aléatoire, et je pense pouvoir exclure le matériel.
Qu'ai-je fait ? Utilisé Skype pour une visio (c'est là que j'ai constaté le pb alors que un peu plus tôt ce matin j'avais constaté que je me voyais par la caméra dans Skype).

Bonjour , je n' ai pas tout lu , mais il est possible que ce soit lié aux mauvaises pratiques que tu fais sur ton ordi  la plus courante tant par exemple " sudo gedit " .

ces fichiers sont importants , et en aucun cas il ne devrait appartenir à " root " .
il faut au minimum remettre les permissions d' aplomb et voir si le probleme persiste ou pas apres un redemarrage de l' ordinateur .

Pour corriger les permissions de ces fichiers donne : 

sudo find ~ -ipath "*.*" ! -user $USER -exec chown -v $USER: {} \;

Une petite recherche sur le msg : uvcvideo 1-6:1.1: Failed to resubmit video URB
et je vois que le pb apparaît depuis longtemps (2013?), qu'il est parfois intermittent, et serait lié au kernel (effectivement MàJ en 24.04.2 il y qlq jours).

Bonjour et merci.
J'ai testé avec le -51. Ça fait la même chose. Mais comme c'est intermittent. Hier, j'ai démarré et redémarré (2 ou 3 fois) et Cheese était KO tout de suite. Ce matin, Cheese était Ok au 1er démarrage, puis Ok au 2nd pendant 1mn et il a planté.

Pour ca , oui c' est normal , il ne faut pas " ? " à la fin de la commande .

sinon , je ne sais pas pourquoi , ta camera se reinitialise tres souvent .
on voit cela dans la sortie de " dmesg " .
c' est certainement pour cela que les logiciels cheese et guvcview ne trouve pas de video0 .

Maisje ne sais pas comment faire en sorte qu ' elle ne se reinitialise pas .
peut etre une histoire de " powersave " ou autre joyeuseté roll

retour COMPLET et utilisable de commande  |  script montage partition ext4

Effectivement, cela me semble très probablement lié à la batterie ou un élément logiciel associé :
- Ça me le fait depuis que j'ai installé l'extension de limitation de charge de Gnome (j'ai testé de désinstaller mais sans effet) et/ou depuis que j'ai 24.04.2
- C'est aléatoire. J'essaye de mettre en relation un événement et il se pourrait que ce soit quand la batterie se met à charger

Ça doit être lié à la présence ou l'absence de ce fichier video : là cheese est en erreur et ce fichier est absent. Mais parfois je vois video0 et video1

Addendum : après redémarrage, avec la batterie à 20% sans charge cheese a fonctionné mais il n'y avait de fichier video, non plus. Une piste ? Bon, il a planté après 15s.
