Message d erreur apres avoir installer xubuntu 24,04 LTS [RESOLU]
Bonjour.
J etais sur la version xubuntu 20.04 LTS. J ai installé la version 24.04 LTS avec une clé usb.
A la fin j ai eu un message que Xubuntu 24.04.02 LTS est installlé et pret a etre utilisé.
J ai cliqué sur Redemarrer maintenant et ensuite j ai eu un message Non systeme disk or disk error replace and strike any key when ready
La clé fonctionne car j ai reussi a installé sur un autre pc portable.

Bonsoir.
L'installation est bonne mais il est possible que ton ordinateur soit ancien et ne sache booter qu'en mode légacy avec un disque ayant une table de partition MS-DOS.
Je te propose de
Booter avec le support d'installation.
Choisir essayer avant d'installer.
Lancer gparted.
Détruire la table de partition. ( onglet périphériques) en acceptant la destruction des partitions.
Créer une table de partition MS-DOS
Créer une partition ext4
Quiter gparted.
Lancer l'installation.
Dire que tu choisis le partitionnement manuel.
Lorsque la partition sda1 sera affichée, tu dis que tu veux la modifier pour qu'elle soit utilisée en ext4 et allouée au point de montage /

Si ton ordinateur est un portable, donne sa référence commerciale.
Sinon, à part réinstaller la version 20.04, je ne sais pas quoi proposer.

C est HP 6530.
J ai essayé la 22.04 LTS, meme probleme.
Si je reste sur la 20.04, il v a y avoir un probleme au niveau de la securité du systeme ?

Oui il s'agit d'un très vieux modèle (2008) avec seulement 2GO de RAM, et un HDD de 160GO
Cela devrait pouvoir juste tourner sur Xubuntu - peut-être en choisissant l'installation "minimale"?
Je vais me faire taper sur les doigts, mais... sur Rufus (Windows) il y avait la possibilité de cocher une option de compatibilité pour les vieux Bios. Je ne sais pas si cette option est également disponible pour les autres logiciels de création de clés démarrables (?)

En effet:

sda1 2048 488396799 488394752 232.9G 83 LinuxLa partition Ubuntu commence au secteur 2048, ce qui est très loin du début du disque, ceci peut poser problème pour certains bios.
Mon avis:
Avec le live usb supprimer la partition Ubuntu, créer 2 partitions ext4, la 1ère de 1 GB (commençant au tout début du disque) la 2ème occupant l'espace restant. Attribuer le drapeau "boot" à la 1ère partition. Réinstaller Ubuntu en mode personnalisé: monter la partition de 1 GB dans /boot et l'autre dans / et continuer l'installation.
Ps: le démarrage du live usb devra se faire en legacy bien entendu.

Effectivement c'est un ancien pc. J'ai remplacé le disque dur par un SSD.
Est-ce qu'en rajoutant une barette de RAM, ça peut régler le problème facilement ?

Pour le moment, La RAM n'est pas en cause
Effectivement, les très vieux ordinateurs ont besoin de la structure de boot en début de disque.
Question. Ce bios a-t-il une composante EFI, Si oui, je ne peux exclure que ton installation précédente était en EFI. Le bios râlerait alors pour l'absence du fichier de boot de windows.

Je te recommande d'ajouter de la RAM mais cela ne résoudra pas le problème de démarrage de Xubuntu. Voir #8.

ça marche ! Le démarrage est rapide et c'est fluide une fois arrivé sur le bureau.

Petite question : si je rajoute de la RAM, est-ce qu'il faut modifier quelque chose au niveau des partitions ?

Avec 4Go de RAM, si tu ne fais rien d'exceptionnel, cela doit aller.
Il existe une comande pour ne pas accéder au tpm .... Il faut que je retrouve.
Les autres anomalies sont sans conséquences.
