Bonjour,
J'ai installé ubuntu 24.04 sur un ACER et jusque là tout allait bien.
J'ai eu ce matin le démarrage qui n'a pas abouti en affichant le message en objet.
J'ai peur que le disque dur soit en fin de vie ? j'ai rapatrié dare dare mes données sur drive mais je souhaite faire le max pour ce qui est réparable.
Je suis plutot débutant et je vous remercie d'avance pour votre aide.
En tout cas bonne journée ! avec les news actuelles il faut garder le moral !

Je ne suis pas un expert, c'est-à-dire que je ne saurai pas t'indiquer comment utiliser la commande smartmontools ni interpréter son retour. Mais tu pourras trouver de l'aide par d'autres abonnés au forum que moi-même.
Quel plaisir de lire ton "bis bald", à contre-courant de ce qui se généralise malheureusement dans notre pays, jusqu'à nos responsables au plus haut niveau qui donnent parfois l'impression de considérer notre si belle langue comme une langue d'arriérés.

Si tu as redémarré la session liveUSB entre le moment du message #4 et du message #9, il faut réinstaller le paquet smartmontools avec la commande du message #4.
Une session live régulière n'a pas de persistance ...
Je crois que le périphérique à tester serait plutôt /dev/sda, à voir l'avis de @xubu1957 sur ce point.

Beaucoup trop d'erreurs pour ce disque quasiment neuf dont aucune erreur n'a été auto-réparée. Disque à remplacer. Cela sera l'occasion de mettre un SSD
Ajout: La cause pourrait être une utilisation dans des conditions non stables

qui est potentiellement à l' origine des " pendings sectors " non ?
@Picasso2024 , il s' agit d' un ordi portable je suppose ?
l ' ordi est " portable " , mais absolument pas un disque dur mecanique et rotatif en fonctionnement , je sais , ca parait aberrant , mais deplacer l' ordi portable en fonctionnement , cela revient à tuer à petit feu ton disque dur mécanique 
les têtes de lectures étant hyper précises et sensibles abime la surface des plateaux du disque ( là ou sont stockées les données ) , et à force , la surface endommagée devient inutilisable , jusqu ' a ce qu ' il n' y ait pratiquement plus du tout de surface en bon état .

ca fait effectivement beaucoup d' erreurs ... !
