prob wifi acer aspire 5715z ubuntu 8.10

bonjour alors voila je ne sais plus quoi faire pour installer le wifi sur mon acer Aspire 5715Z qui possede une carte wifi      intégrée      b/g      Atheros AR242X. j'ai fait tout les tutos et ça marche pas, soit les packets ne sont plus disponible, soit quand je rentre les commandes dans le terminal il me dit qu'elle ne font rien.
y'a aussi le tuto ou ils disent de se servir des drivers de windows mais alors il parle de decompresser un .exe pour en faire un .inf mais le probleme c'est que les drivers que j'ai de ma carte wifi ne sont pas en un seul fichier .exe donc pour le decompresser c'est bidon ^^. aidez moi s'il vous plait. je suis nouveau sur linux.

ce qui me parait bizarre c que lorsque je tape iwconfig y'a meme pas de Wlan.

Salut, si tu n'as toujours pas réussi, je vais te donner une solution qui fonctionne pour moi, car j'ai eu le meme soucis que toi et j'ai chercher pendant un bon moment.

Commence tout d'abord par lire la partie "Pré-requis généraux" puis utilise la solution donné dans "Solution recommandée : Le module ath5k".
