Problème wifi sous un Acer 5613ZWLMi

Bonjour à tous,

ça va faire maintenant bientôt deux ans que j'utilise linux (mandriva au début et actuellement ubuntu) mais j'ai jamais réussi à faire marcher le wifi !!
Pourtant il marche bien sous vista! D'habitude je ne peux me connecter à internet que par wifi (d'où mon acharnement à le faire marcher sous ubuntu) mais là je dispose d'une connexion filaire pour qqs jours et je voudrais en profiter pour régler le problème sous ubuntu.

J'ai vu qu'il y avait en gros 2 méthodes :
1/ installer un pilote linux
pour ça, j'ai regardé plein plein de forums et suivi pas à pas toutes les étapes mais ça n'a jamais marché ... soit je bloquais au milieu soit  je passais  toutes les étapes avec succès mais sans que la wifi marche à la fin ...

Bref donc j'ai presque désespéré pour cette méthode et j'ai essayé une autre (qui est plus simple à faire quand on a accès  à internet sous ubuntu)
2/utiliser  des pilotes de windows (surtout que sous vista le wifi marche sans problèmes)
J'ai suivi ces deux tutoriels:

Le pilote windows semble avoir été installé correctement (dans la fenêtre "Pilotes de réseaux sans fil" j'ai "netath, Matériel Présent : oui")

J'ai déchargé le module par défaut (si je me suis pas trompée c'est le module ath5k)

J'ai ensuite  terminé par les deux commandes suivantes pour passer la main à ndiswrapper:

sudo modprobe -r ndiswrapper
sudo modprobe ndiswrapper

Mais à la fin rien ne change sad
et iwconfig me donne (sans surprise) :

lo        no wireless extensions.

eth0      no wireless extensions.

pan0      no wireless extensions.


Configuration et matériel:

- j'ai un Acer Aspire 5613ZWLMi
- lspci | grep -i net
05:00.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications Inc. AR242x 802.11abg Wireless PCI Express Adapter (rev 01)

Ok, pour utiliser ndiswrapper, il faut enlever ath5k et ath_pci.

Dans le fichier /etc/modules
Commente la ligne avec ath_pci et ajoute une ligne ndiswrapper

Dans le fichier /etc/modprobe.d/blaklist
Ajoute les ligne blacklist ath5k et blacklist ath_pci

Redémarre et poste les mêmes commandes.

oui on dirait que tout est installé correctement !

Même dans le menu Système -->administration->pilotes de périphériques j'avais:
*Support for 5xxx series of Atheros 802.11 wireless LANcards
*Suport for Atheros 802.11 wireless LANcards
avec 2 témoin verts
et "ce pilote est activé et actuellement utilisé"  !!
(mais là, après l'avoir blacklisé, le premier n'est biensur plus activé)

Par contre quand je clique sur la petite icône des réseaux captés (celle juste à côté du son)
je n'ai que le réseau filaire qui apparait
* "Réseau filaire" (en relief, pas réactive aux clics)
* "Auto eth0" (pour le réseau ethernet)
* Connexions VPN

Je comprend vraiment pas d'où peut venir le problème ...

Blacklist aussi ce module

Redémarre et re-test, poste le retour de :

J'ai quand même rajouté la même ligne ("blacklist ath_pci") une deuxième fois  et ça donne donc:

à priori  les autres pilotes seraient désactivés et il n'y aurait donc plus de problème de conflit avec ndiswrapper.

Mais quand je tape lsmod, j'ai devant le module ndiswrapper :  "used by 0".
ça voudrait pas dire que ndiswrapper n'est pas utilisé/chargé (alors qu'il devrait l'être pour capter les réseaux sans fil)?
Je sais pas , peut être que je dis n'importe quoi, mais c'est peut être alors ndiswrapper qui n'est pas activé non plus

Bon si tu as tester correctement ndiswrapper, ath5k, ath_pci comme dit dans la documentation, je ne vois pas ce que l'on peut tester de plus (peut être que quelque chose nous échappe).

Mais ta carte WiFi devrait fonctionner, il faut tester un autre noyau, voire le liveCD d'une version en développement (alpha ou beta).
