AkErOn n'a pas résolu du tout son problème : il a abandonné le projet d'installer Ubuntu avec Wubi au profit d'une installation classique de Ubuntu, c'est à dire sur partition Linux (alors que Wubi permet d'installer Ubuntu sur une partition NTFS).
Moi, je te suggère de créer un nouveau post à la rubrique Wubi du forum (celle où est ce post) pour décrire ton problème en donnant des détails sur :
- Le windows avec lequel tu tentes d'installer Ubuntu avec Wubi : c'est XP ? Vista?
- Ton PC : combien de Mo de RAM ? + autres infos que tu crois utile de donner.
- quelle version de Ubuntu tu tentes d'installer : Ubuntu 9.10 ou version antérieure ?
- décrire quelle procédure tu as suivie pour tenter l'install (si tu as suivi un tuto, donne le lien)

Je suis un peu novice, je sais, désolé... Mais alors comment faire pour installer Ubuntu de façon classique (sans WUBI), sur une partition LINUX et non NTFS????

Salut malbo. Merci pour ton message. Désolé mais je pensai que tu avais lu mon message dans l'autre sujet. J'ai un ACER ASPIRE 5100 équipé d'origine de VISTA 32bits et depuis peu j'ai installé la version RC de WINDOWS 7. Détails du pc: AMD Turion 64 X2 mobile technology TL-52 1.60 GHz avec 2G de RAM...
Et j'essaye d'installer la version 9.10 de Ubuntu... Pour l'installer j'ai suivi l'application Wubi qui se lance après avoir gravé l'image ISO.

Merci pour la réponse. As-tu déjà essayé Ubuntu en live CD ou bien en live USB (en démarrant le PC sur le live CD ou sur la clé USB de démarrage ) ? Si ce n'est pas déjà fait, c'est une étape importante à réaliser. Pour créer un live CD, vois dans la doc du site :

Pour créer une live USB de démarrage, il faut prendre une clé USB sur laquelle tu n'as rien de précieux (risque fort de tout effacer) d'une taille supérieure ou égale à 1 Go et suivre ce tuto (nécessite d'avoir téléchargé le fichier .iso au préalable):
