Salut,

As-tu utilisé le script winetricks pour installer vcrun2005 et vcrun2008, avant de lancer l'installation de Catia?

(en français: consulte la doc Wine: trucs et astuces, section Winetricks)

Sans en être certain, je crois que VC8 runtime correspond à vcrun2008.

Il faut aussi trouver un fichier msdrm.dll et le placer dans le dossier .wine/drive_c/windows/system32 (aucune idée où trouver ce fichier!)

Ces conseils sont tirés de ce rapport de la AppDB du site WineHQ (en anglais), qui assigne une évaluation "gold" à l'installation, ce qui est excellent (seconde meilleure évaluation après platine).

mais j'ai toujours ce problème de VC8 runtime !!

y a t'il une autre manipulation à faire ou me suis je trompé quelque part ??

Toujours depuis le lien de la page de la AppDB que j'ai posté, il y avait ce message dans le bas de la page:

I forgot to mention that you also need to install winbind package as well (apt-get install winbind) it is required for running CATIA.
Thus, for Wine versions higher that 1.1.35 the reason for CATIA not running is that Visual C++ runtime libraries are not installed/loaded correctly by Wine, so it is a Wine regression.
One solution might be to manually copy WinSxS folder from an XP installation to .wine/drive_c/windows/ and try running CATIA afterwards.
Another is of course to fix Wine in future releases.

En plus du paquet winbind à installer (par Synaptic ou la commande terminal mentionnée), il y aurait une régression des versions de Wine supérieures à la 1.1.35 qui fait que les bibliothèques Visual C++ ne s'installent pas correctement.

Une autre solution possible qui n'est pas mentionnée: installer une version antérieure de Wine, comme la 1.1.35, en téléchargeant le paquet deb ici.

(Quelle version de Wine avez-vous installée, ShymF8st et vavincavent? La version des dépôts d'Ubuntu est la stable 1.0, qui est trop vieille, ou celle du site WineHQ, qui en est maintenant à la 1.1.43?)

Sinon, n'ayant jamais installé Catia, je ne peux vous aider davantage. Déjà que je me sens un peu hypocrite de tenter de vous aider à installer un coûteux logiciel commercial dont vous n'avez sûrement pas acheté la licence, moi qui me targue d'être un fervent partisan des logiciels libres.

Une chose importante à comprendre: malgré que tu puisse suivre les instructions à la lettre, il n'y a aucune garantie que ça fonctionne. Fais une recherche sur le forum ou sur le net: plein de gens s'y sont cassé les dents. Ça marche pour certains, et pour d'autres, non, c'est inexplicable, mais c'est comme ça. Wine, c'est vraiment un truc bancal pour tenter de faire fonctionner (avec plus ou moins de succès) des applications Windows sous Linux. Le développement est surtout axé sur les jeux, Photoshop, et MS Office.

Effectivement, coûteux logiciel. A noter que lors des formations CATIA dispensées par Dassault System, certains formateurs distribuent des versions patchables de CATIA.

... La dose gratuite à la sortie des écoles, histoire de bien droguer les utilisateurs...

J'aimerais bien suivre une formation de soir sous Catia, mais je n'en ai pas trouvée dans ma région. Ça m'aurait permis d'obtenir une copie légale (même si limitée dans le temps) pour tester ça sous Ubuntu...

Oui, pour la «dose de drogue», la technique a réussi à merveille pour AutoCAD. Je me souviens qu'à l'université vers la fin des années 80, on se passait des copies de la version 2.17 sur disquette souple 5.25"! Et non, ça ne me rajeunit pas...

Je me permets de remonter le topic car j'essaie désespérément d'installer Catia (V5R18 et V5R19) à l'aide de Wine (wine 1.4-0ubuntu4) sous Ubuntu 12.04. Voilà ma démarche :

J'installe Wine
Dans le terminal > winetricks vcrun2005 vcrun2008
Je copie msdrm.dll dans *.wine/drive_c/windows/system32
Je monte l'ISO de Catia et je lance setup.exe
J'ai un message d'erreur "Error : Wrong parameters"
Le setup se lance, je valide tout, l'installation commence et ca freeze. (j'ai laissé tourner 1 heure)

J'ai vu sur le net qu'on pouvait l'installer avec PlayOnLinux, mais il est pas dans la liste, sur le forum de PlayOnLinux je tombe sur un lien de script mort...

Voilà, ça fonctionne sur une installation toute neuve ubuntu 12.04, Wine (metapackage) et l'ISO de catia montée avec GMOUNTISO

Wow, super vavincavent !!

En fait mon problème était d'utiliser le monteur d'image par défaut d'Ubuntu, j'ai monté l'image avec GMOUNTISO et ça marche parfaitement, j'ai juste un warning OpenGL au démarrage.

Pour ma part, je viens d'installer au travail Catia V5 R19 (installation complete), sur Ubuntu 10.10 avec wine 1.3.13 (fidelement a cette page : http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.p … ngId=61383).

Or pour utiliser le serveur de licence, je dois installer des logiciels supplementaires. J'ai donc installe ces logiciels avec Wine comme je l'ai fait pour Catia. Il apparaissent bien dans mon menu Wine (Wine > Programs > Licence Use Runtime).

Mais quand je lance celui dont j'ai besoin (Basic Tools) en mode console (avec la commande : env WINEPREFIX="/home/user/.wine" wine C:\\windows\\command\\start.exe /Unix /home/user/.wine/dosdevices/c:/users/user/Start\ Menu/Programs/License\ Use\ Runtime/Basic\ License\ Tool.lnk), la console me retourne une suite d'erreurs et rien d'autre :

Je ne comprends pas pourquoi tu essaies de lancer ça.
Je penses que tu es parti sous de mauvaises bases. A mon souvenir, l'installation de catia et son lancement ne pose pas de soucis !!!!

Essaye de l'installer via playonlinux ça ira mieux => http://www.playonlinux.com/repository/?cat=7&type=0

Ok, ok.

En fait, j'utilise des fichiers d'installation fournis par ma boite : certains pour Catia, et certains pour installer ce logiciel qui permet de se connecter au serveur de licence.

L'installation de Catia n'a pas pose de probleme. Seulement, au demarrage de Catia, j'ai un message d'erreur du style : "You have not requested a configuration or product licence...". Ensuite Catia s'ouvre avec la fenetre de configuration de licence (le Licence Manager) mais toutes les cases (ADD, AL2, AM2, etc.) sont grisees et en haut je peux lire :

Licensing Information ------------------------------------------------
Target Id : 00000000 Active server : None
Display Type : Local

Quand j'ai montre ca a mon collegue il m'a dit d'installer ces logiciels supplementaires que je n'arrive pas a lancer.

Bon ! Je vais chercher encore un peu...

Avec playonlinux aussi les cases sont grisées ?

En fait il faut que tu retrouve le .exe des utilitaires de licence

env WINEPREFIX="/home/user/.wine" wine C:\\windows\\command\\start.exe /Unix /home/user/.wine/dosdevices/c:/users/user/Start\ Menu/Programs/License\ Use\ Runtime/Basic\ License\ Tool.lnk

En fait ça c'ets pas bon il faudrait cibler dans Program Files
Fais un ls dans le dossier catia présent dans C:\Program Files de ton wine
