Carte graphique : installeur ATI : erreurs
Salut,
Je viens de lancer l'installer que j'ai téléchargé sur le site de ATI pour ma Radeon 9200 SE : ati-driver-installer-8.14.13.run
J'ai suivi la procédure d'installation et un nouveau xorg.conf a été généré.
Lorsque j'ai redémarré le serveur X, j'ai eu un écran bleu avec des erreurs que je n'ai pas comprises.
Est-ce que quelqu'un serait assez bon pour jeter un coup d'oeil à ce fichier et me dire ce qu'il y a d'anormal ?

J'ai suivi la procédure d'installation et un nouveau xorg.conf a été généré.
Ton xorg utilise le driver radeon et pas le driver fglrx, c'est très étrange si tu as généré un nouveau xorg.conf

Merci pour ton aide,
Ci-dessous le fichier Xorg.0.log généré lors d'une tentative de démarrage du serveur X avec le driver ATI.
J'ai remarqué les dernières lignes et plus particulièrement :
(WW) fglrx(0): Kernel Module version does *not* match driver.
(EE) fglrx(0): incompatible kernel module detected - HW accelerated OpenGL will not work
J'ai trouvé http://wiki.ubuntu-fr.org/materiel/ati une "explication" et j'ai tenté la commande sudo apt-get install linux-restricted-modules-$(uname -r) mais en retour j'ai eu :
linux-restricted-modules-2.6.10-5-amd64-generic est déjà la plus récente version disponible.
J'espère que quelqu'un pourra m'aider à regler ce problème car avec le driver "radeon", l'image est bonne mais certains économiseurs d'écran en 3D, l'animation est saccadée et avec Enemy Territory c'est encore pire.

Regarde dans /lib/modules si tu as bien un répertoire fglrx (avec dedans un fichier fglrx.ko)
Ça ca devrait être le bon fichier.

J'ai bien un dossier fglrx mais dedans je n'ai pas de fglrx.ko, seulement un dossier build_mod et make_install.sh...

Le module n'a pas été compilé
Récupére les paquets linux-headers-xxx (xxx a remplacer selon ta version installée) et build-essential
Ensuite sudo sh make_install.sh
