[CVS] Probleme de config . Pas de pwd ?

Bonjour !

Je viens d'installer cvs pour mon taff et j'ai un probleme !
L'install est fait et quand je cherche a faire un CheckOut :

arkezis@arkezis-desktop:~$ cvs co bestiaire_jeu
cvs checkout: CVS password file /home/arkezis/.cvspass does not exist - creating a new file
/var/liv/cvs/bestiaire: no such repository

Quelle est cette histoire de .cvspass ? Dois je créer un dossier dans /var/lib/cvs ?
Puis je faire en sorte que mes update et mon CheckOut se fasse direcdt dans /var/www ?
