[Résolu] Erreur d'entrée/sortie et unable to lock var/lib/dpkg ?
Bonsoir tout le monde
J'ai converti un copain à Kubuntu, et après lui avoir expliqué le concept des dépôts et d'Aptitude, je lui ai proposé de mettre à jour avec quelques dépôts de base. Voilà son sources.list pour Kubuntu Dapper Drake :

Seulement, quand il veut faire une update ou une upgrade, voilà ce que le terminal lui retourne
majr@majr-desktop:~$ sudo apt-get upgrade
E: Impossible d'ouvrir le fichier verrou /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (5 Erreur d'entrée/sortie)

5 Erreur d'entrée/sortie
hummm... pas très bon ça. D'habitude c'est une erreur 11 (Ressource temporairement non disponible) quand on lance un apt-get alors qu'on a par exemple un synaptic en cours d'exécution.
Mais une "Erreur d'entrée/sortie", ça me fait penser à un problème du disque dur... il faudrait regarder dans le syslog à la recherche de hda ou hdb pour voir s'il n'y a pas de problèmes physiques
Pensez à mettre [Résolu] dans le titre une fois votre problème réglé !

Le souci c'est que je n'ai pas son PC en face de moi, il m'a parlé de son souci par Kopete donc difficile de le guider directement. Heureusement je le vois ce matin au cours

Voilà le contenu de son syslog. Je lui ai demandé de relancer sudo apt-get update mais aucune erreur n'apparaît à l'heure où il l'a effectuée (vers 18h30)

Effectivement, pas de problème physique... c'est une bonne nouvelle !
Peut-il accéder au fichier /var/lib/dpkg/lock ? par exemple, en faisant :
sudo cat /var/lib/dpkg/lock
Ce fichier est normallement vide, donc rien ne doit se passer en tapant cette commande, sauf la demande éventuel du mot de passe par sudo.
Pensez à mettre [Résolu] dans le titre une fois votre problème réglé !

J'ai fait des tests : si ce fichier n'existe pas, apt-get (et problement toute la suite synaptic / adept / aptitude / update-manager / ... ) le crée automatiquement.
Il faudrait donc essayer de forcer sa création par un simple
sudo touch /var/lib/dpkg/lock
C'est bizarre cette erreur : j'ai fait des recherche sur google aussi bien sur la version anglaise que française du message d'erreur. J'ai trouvé beaucoup d'erreurs de permission (13), quelques erreurs de fichier ou de répertorie absent (2), mais aucune erreur d'entrée/sortie (5).
Malgré l'absence de messages dans le log, j'ai quand même des doutes sur la bonne santé soit du disque, soit du système de fichier (ext3fs ?)... je ne vois pas comment expliquer autrement une erreur I/O... à moins qu'apt-get ne remonte pas correctement ses erreurs, mais vu la qualité du sytème, ça m'étonnerait.
Pensez à mettre [Résolu] dans le titre une fois votre problème réglé !

C'est jamais très motivant de partir avec un probleme bizarre quand on se met a linux, mais tiens le coup, tu reglera ton probleme et sa ira mieux. (message de soutien de quelqu'un qui ne peut pas aider directement:P).
Sinon dirait que tu n'a pas acces en ecriture sur ce dossier mais je vois vraiment pas pkoi...désolé

Oui, mais là c'est franchement pas normal que touch retourne une erreur. Je veux bien que apt-get qui est une commande complexe puisse planter, mais on ne peut pas trouver plus simple qu'un "sudo touch" : création d'un fichier vide. Ce n'est pas à cause des droits (désactivés par le sudo), ni un problème de mémoire (le fichier fait 0 octet...) et encore moins un problème de version/fonctionnalité.
Bref, un touch ne devrait jamais planter... j'ai bien peur que ce soit un GROS problème
Est-il possible de créer un autre fichier que lock ?
sudo touch /var/lib/dpkg/test
et dans les autres répertoires ?
sudo touch /var/lib/dpkg/info/test
sudo touch /var/lib/test
sudo touch /var/test
Il faudrait vérifier la structure du système de fichier au moyen d'un fsck, mais cette opération ne peut être faite que sur un système de fichier fermé. Le plus simple est probablement de le faire sur le CD live, en prenant soin de démounter le disque avant de lancer le fsck (exemple, depuis le live CD, si le répertoire /var/lib/dpkg est situé sur /dev/hda1 ) :
sudo umount /dev/hda1
sudo e2fsck -f /dev/hda1
Pensez à mettre [Résolu] dans le titre une fois votre problème réglé !

Problème... euh... résolu. Le disque dur a bel et bien lâché, mon pote s'en est racheté un. Reste à voir ce que ça donnera quand il aura réinstallé Kubuntu.
