ça ne marche pas chez moi, j'ai effectué la plupart des installations du site et j'ai toujours le même comportement et les mêmes erreurs.

J'essai d'installer une Radeon 9250 sur un bus AGP.

Tout ce passe bien à chaque fois. Au moment du reboot je me retrouve sur l'écran de login avec une résolution de 1600*1200. Je saisie mon login et je me retrouve après quelques secondes .... sur l'écran de login sad

Lorsque je passe en mode sans échec je me retrouve avec ma fenêtre en 1600*1200 et lorsque je tape la commande "fglrxinfo" j'ai la sortie suivante

Je pense que le problème vient des fonts: x ne les trouve pas!
Il doit probablement te manquer un paquet ou un lien symbolique , je ne sais pas trop faut regarder sur les forums ou le net..


Sinon les erreurs wacom (qui ne sont pas responsable du problème) doivent provenir de "devices" wacom déclarés dans ton xorg.conf mais qui ne correspondent à aucun matériel que tu as.

Peux-tu poster ton xorg.conf stp?

et aussi faire un: glxinfo | grep rendering ?

ok merci raspouille,

ceci explique cela : j'ai une erreur de type bad subsitution....avec le dernier .run d'ati pour la x1600

Cependant, il y a 5 mois environs, j'avais installé mon driver ati x1600 a partir du .run sans manips particulières autres que celles du readme et je n'avais pas eu de problemes.

Merci encore, j'essaie tout ca asap.

Je viens d'essayer la méthode que tu propose mais je ne peux pas faire:

sudo m-a build fglrx

car je n'ai pas de module fglrx mais uniquement des

fglrx-kernel-source  fglrx-kernel-src

.

Cela provient-il de ce que j'ai désactivé le module fglrx dans le fichier

/etc/default/linux-restricted-modules-common

?

bon je l'ai fait avec le fglrx-kernel-source. Ca marche, j'ai bien l'accélération matérielle quand je démarre et que je rentre dans une session gnome classique. Par contre lorsque je passe en session gnome/xgl (qui fonctionnait avec les anciens drivers) je ne peux plus lancer beryl!!!
Et si je reviens alors sur une session gnome normale je n'ai plus l'accélération matérielle!

Bonjour,

    toute nouvelle sur linux, (et archi nulle en informatique, il faut le dire) j'ai suivi les instructions concernant l'installation du driver et tout s'arrête là
sudo chmod +x ati-driver-installer-8.28.8.run

la machine persiste à dire qu'il n'y a aucun fichier ati-driver-installer-8.28.8.run. Comme c'est sur le bureau ,je ne sais pas quoi faire, ayant été habituée à windows!!! Tout paraît tellement simple quand on en a l'habitude!!!!

   Serait-il possible de m'aider dans un langage pour archi sous développé de l'ordi!!!!!

C'est encore moi, j'ai oublié de préciser que la carte graphique est une ati radéon 9250
C'est peut-être pour ça que ça ne marche pas??? Je n'en sais rien, enfin, voilà vous savez tout!!

si le fichier est sur ton bureau rajoute ./Desktop/ati_truc.run pour qu'il trouve le fichier.

J ai suivi le tuto pour installer les nouveaux drivers de ATI ( ati-driver-installer-8.32.5-x86.x86_64 )  pour ma RADEON 9600 PRO et ca marche nikel !!

Je viens d'installer les pilotes ati pour ma radeon 9250. J'éteins le pc, je remet ma carte ati, je redémarre et ça plante. J'ai une carte mère asrock p4i65gv avec carte graphique incorporée que je ne peux désactiver dans le bios.

Quelqu'un peut m'aider ?

Caramba .... encore raté....

pas de chance ca ne marche pas !

Je n'ai pas été assez précis. Ma carte ati radeon n'est pas plugée, sinon Ubuntu ne démarre pas et pas que Ubuntu.... ! donc à chaque essais j'éteins le pc et je remet la carte ati ... et cette fois comme j'ai enlevé l'autre carte de xorg.conf ..... j'étais content d'avoir un backup. Aussi pour pouvoir installer Ubuntu, j'ai du enlever cette carte ati.

il n' y a que 3jours que je suis sous linux, j'ai viré le windows et je ne veux jamais plus en entendre parler...

Le probleme est que dés que je branche ma carte ati radeon dans mon pc ubuntu ne démarre pas... Et je suis certain que la carte n'est pas endomgée car je l'ai testée sur un autre pc.. Le 2éme probleme c'est que j'ai aussi un carte graphique incorporée à la carte mère qui fonctionne avec le chipset i865gv et que je ne peux désactiver dans le bios . Alors, soit je n'ai pas encore essayé toutes les possibilités pour faire fonctionner ma carte ati soit ubuntu ne gère pas 2 cartes graphiques
