Bon alors, tente de faire un
sudo modprobe appletouch
pour tenter de charger manuellement le module dans le noyau.
Mais je ne sais pas si ça marchera (je commence à épuiser toutes mes ressources )
Ca ne marche pas non plus...
Voilà le message d'alerte chaque fois que je veux lancer le touchpad dans les prefs système :
GSynaptics couldn't initialize.
You have to set 'SHMConfig' 'true' in xorg.conf or XF86Config to use GSynaptics
C'est un rappel du fondamental du pb.

Je commence à me demander si le touchpad est bien un synaptics, sinon, je ne vois pas pourquoi il ne fonctionnerait pas...

J'ai exactement le même problème que pianistocrate ...
Pourtant, il me semble avoir tout bien fait ....

Mon iBook 1,33 GHz tourne sous debian, et plus sous ubuntu, mais bon, il n'y a pas de grandes différences...
En tout cas, le touchpad fonctionne (mais il manque un peu de sensibilité / réactivité )
