Alors ma ligne c'est : (effectivement pas de acpi=off, désolé, il y avait beaucoup de trucs dans ma ligne et celui-là je le connais par cœur, j'ai cru qu'il y était)

Ben en fait à la base je voulais les logs complets mais c'est pas grave, le Xorg.0.log montre que le premier problème est corrigé. Sinon tu as une idée de ce qu'est ce "ro" dans ta ligne de GRUB ?

Par contre ma question maintenant c'est pourquoi tu est sous 11.04 ? Tu devrais sérieusement envisager le passage à 12.04. Si c'est à cause de Unity, saches que tu peux installer Gnome Classic sous 12.04. Parce que dans ta situation, c'est la seule chose qui pourrait débloquer, j'ai jamais vu cette combinaison de problèmes a priori incompatibles entre eux...

Oui, initialement je ne suis pas passé à 11.10 parce qu'Unity c'était pas mon truc, et Gnome 3 non plus. Maintenant, j'ai téléchargé 12.04 et je posais justement la question hier de l'utilité d'y passer :-D Donc je peux essayer ça (y)

Déso pour les logs je voulais bien faire :s Mais si tu as trouvé ton info c'est parfait, sinon je peux te les mettre en entier!

Pour le ro, je ne sais pas, je l'ai souvent vu dans mes lignes Grub depuis que j'utilise Linux (qq années) : il se trouve aussi par exemple au 5.2 grub:sh (Shell GRUB 2 à l'amorçage) de la doc ubuntu... Mais je ne sais pas ce que c'est :s

Oui, on a corrigé une petite régression entre 2.4 et 3.0 dans cette nouvelle version, et il peut y avoir des améliorations dans les performances allant jusqu'à 100%. Mais ça reste faible vis-à-vis de ce qui est faisable. Malheureusement, ça prend du temps à faire, et on en a pas beaucoup.

@snipe2004 : Selon certains, le support des 630m n'est en fait pas effectif dans les drivers nVidia actuels, bien que ce modèle soit mentionné. Si ça ne marche toujours pas sous 12.04, c'est sûrement la raison du problème, il faudra attendre une nouvelle version.

@ Archange : merci beaucoup pour cette information, cela me rassure. Je passerai à 12.04 en juin, après avoir rendu mon mémoire ;-)
Au passage et pour info, j'ai dû remettre nomodeset au boot car le PC ne bootait plus (étonnant, car il l'a fait au moment de mes essais et en le rallumant le lendemain, ça bloquait...).

@ Nepenthes : Pas mal! Tu penses que pour la 630M cela améliorera la situation (yn) ? Les termes sont un peu trop techniques pour moi :s

Hum, effectivement il y a quelques changements dans ces drivers, mais pas grand chose pour nous du côté visible en tout cas. Par contre effectivement on peut penser qu'il y a aura un réel changement pour la 630m.

Sinon, je devrais pouvoir le tester bientôt, xorg-edgers devrait le proposer incessamment sous peu, ils sont super actifs en ce moment avec le passage vers Qantal, je viens de voir d'ailleurs que j'ai un noyau 3.4 à récupérer et des drivers intel 2.19, ainsi que mesa 8.1 et xorg 1.12.1.

Sinon pour info je suis enfin en train de retaper le premier post du topic avec une section "Troubleshooting", je posterai ici quand ce sera fini.

Juste pour info, sur mon portable Asus X53S, je suis passé en version Ubuntu 12.04.
Bumblebee a été mis à jour. Redémarrage: marche pas! Un coup d’œil dans les log -> j'ai black-listé nouveau et retesté:
Ça marche! et j'ai même gagné quelques fps sur la carte nvidia! Mais pas intel, fo pas rêver non plus!

Voilà, j'ai mis à jour le premier post. Principales nouveautés : une section pré-installation dont le but est de s'assurer que la machine est concernée, les changelogs pour la version 3.0-2 et 3.0 (apparemment je n'avais jamais mis ce dernier), et surtout une section dépannage.

Si certains d'entre vous, je pense surtout à toi Nepenthes, on le temps de me relire pour vérifier s'il n'y a pas d'erreurs, ce serait bien. Si au passage vous avez des commentaires, ou suggestions, je suis toujours preneur.

J'ai installé toutes les nouveautés venant de xorg-edgers, noyau 3.4, rien à signaler pour le moment.
Cela dit, j'ai eu un message d'erreur laconique concernant dkms, alors j'ai réinstallé nvidia-current et bbswitch histoire d'être tout à fait sûr que leur compilation s'était bien déroulée. Redémarrage sans problème après ça.

Ok, merci. Tu as aussi mis à jour le driver nvidia ? (Il a été buildé comme prévu il y a 2 heures environ)

Oui, 302.07 beta, gestion de l'énergie OK, optirun OK.

Par contre, petit souci avec Wine :

err:wgl:is_extension_supported No OpenGL extensions found, check if your OpenGL setup is correct!

Il me semble avoir déjà réglé ça une fois, mais je ne suis plus certain de la marche à suivre.

Ouais, et sinon un bug avec le kernel 3.4 qui m'empêche d'utiliser nouveau, sinon tout le reste est OK.

up ! en fait j'ai un problème avec OpenGL dans Wine, en général : il n'est détecté avec aucune de mes deux cartes graphiques, et je ne comprends pas pourquoi...

ro means 'mount the file system as read-only'.

the reason this is done is because fsck (the file system checker) should never be run on a read/write file system.

it's a default for a very good reason, and i would be very wary of changing it.

Bonjour à tous,
Je suis passé de 11.10 à 12.04 sur mon Dell optiplex 740 , carte graphique nvidia GeForce 6150 LE.
le GUI me demande bien la connexion utilisateur, mais ensuite l'écran scintille avec des pavés bleus.
Par contre, si je passe par le menu du GRUB, en mode dépannage, je retrouve bien mon GUI.
Comme indiqué sur ce forum, j'ai mis à jour la carte graphique avec le pilote propriétaire, ce qui a empiré les choses.
Bref, je suis largué ...
