Comment configurer le channel pour un point d'accès 5Ghz avec hostapd?

Bonjour,
Je tente de créer un Point d'accès WIFI 5Ghz avec hostapd.
J'ai le matériel (Wireless adapter) suivant :

   

 Network controller: Qualcomm Atheros AR9462 Wireless Network Adapter (rev 01)

   
Il supporte le WIFI 802.11a/b/g/n.

J'ai essayé plusieurs channels différents entre 0 et 40 mais j'ai toujours les mêmes erreurs quand je démarre le service  hostapd

 
    hostapd[1937]: wlan_local: IEEE 802.11 Configured channel (40) not found from the channel list of current mode (2) IEEE 802.11a
    hostapd[1937]: wlan_local: IEEE 802.11 Hardware does not support configured channel

Quelques précisions:
Ma distribution : Ubuntu desktop 16.04.6 LTS
Mon WIFI : Carte PCIe Interne

Le channel 40 devrait fonctionner... Qu'en pensez vous?
Est ce que certains sont parvenus à faire fonctionner un Point d'Accès WIFI en 5 Ghz?
