Problème carte Wifi sur Vaio [Résolu]

Bonjour,

Je possède un vieux Vaio SVF15A1M2ES que j'ai décider de recycler avec Lubuntu 20.04.01

Le soucis est que depuis je n'arrive pas à trouver mon réseau Wifi, j'ai déjà activer le driver dans "Additional drivers" en activant"Using source du pilote réseau sans fil Broadcom 802.11 Linux STA from bcmxl-krtnrl-doutvr (proprietary)" et tenté les différentes méthodes proposée sur les forum, mais apparemment je suis moins doué que dans ma jeunesse et je n'arrive pas a trouver mon Wifi

Auriez vous des suggestions ?

L'ordi est de quelle année ?

A partir de 2012, voir le § 2 et le début du § 3 > [Tuto] Pas de Wi-fi ? Eléments importants à vérifier, pour désactiver le secure-boot.

L'ordi est de 2014 il me sembles, j'ai déjà enlevé le secure boot au début de mes essais, mais ça n'a rien changé...
Ce qui m'interpelle le plus, c'est que je n'ai aucun moyen pour chercher les réseaux wifi, j'ai cette horrible impression que la réponse est toute bête mais je n'y arrives pas...

en tout cas merci pour votre aide, ces forums me rappellent quand Internet était tellement plus...agréable smile

Ah, tout est à no, c'est impec smile
Tu peux donner

sudo iwlist scan

et s'il ne renvoit rien (en particulier pas ta box), tu peux redémarrer et donner le retour de

dmesg

(le retour est long c'est normal)

Le bluetooth demande un fichier hcd, après je pense pas que cela dérange pour le wifi, mais je ne vois aucune trace.
As tu redémarré après avoir installé le pilote?

Ah, alors j'ajoute les explications:
lspci -nnk | grep 0280 -A3 permet de lister les périphériques PCI, ici c'est pour voir le modèle de carte wifi.
uname -a permet de connaître le noyau linux sur lequel tu es
secure boot c'est un système pour éviter que des programmes non signés soient chargés avec des droits importants (que ce soit grub ou des pilotes)
rfkill list permet en particulier de savoir si la carte wifi est bloquée matériellement (par un bouton) ou logiciellement.
sudo apt update permet de mettre à jour le cache de apt, ce qu'on doit faire avant de faire ses mises à jour
sudo apt install --reinstall bcmwl-kernel-source réinstalle le paquet bcmwl-kernel-source
sudo iwlist scan recherche les réseaux wifi alentours
dmesg permet de voir des logs relativement fournis (bref plein d'infos relative au démarrage)

Peux tu redémarrer et retester?

Cette dernière manipulation à fonctionner, j'ai à présent les réseaux wifi qui s'affichent et je peux m'y connecter
Si quelqu'un a la patience de m'expliquer pourquoi, ce serait génial smile

C'est si bon de retrouver sur internet un peu d'entraide et de bienveillance, au contraire de ce que l'on lit sur les réseaux sociaux toute la journée.

On a forcé la réinstallation du pilote wifi bcmwl.

Pour éditer ta discussion et rajouter [Résolu], au début du titre et la carte Wi-FiBCM43142, il faut utiliser le bouton Modifier au bas de ton premier message.

Perso j'évite les réseaux (a)sociaux, comme ça je suis tranquille smile
sudo dpkg --configure -a a pour but de reconfigurer pas mal de paquets, notamment le paquet pour le wifi qui était mal configuré, ici via un script dkms qui va s'occuper à chaque changement de noyau de réinstaller le pilote wifi
